Bristol University has been running their annual Autumn Art lecture series since 1905. It's a fantastic treat to stroll along after work on an autumn evening, and bask in the fascinating lecture programme each year. Amongst this year's highlights was a phenomenal talk on Louise Bourgeois entitled Men are monsters!: Feminism, Gothic and the story of Louise Bourgeois, given by Dr Gilda Williams from Goldsmiths.
So of course it was an honour to be invited to provide the artwork for the 2010 lecture series on colour in art, including a fascinating lecture entitled Chromophobia: ten years on given by David Batchelor.
